Ahh so I deviated from the plan  But it is awesome and I now have a new parts carrier... Nothing much happening with the van, am hopeing to head to sydney in the next few weeks to have a chat to the different beaters (one has the van and the other has the doors and glass and a few other bits) and if all goes to plan then sometime in the new year i hope work will start to progress again on the van. OHH AND HERE ARE SOME PICTURES OF THE NEW PARTS CARRIER

With almost no weight over the rear wheels, that must make for some fun!

Nope - Nissan CA18DET (1.8T). A common conversion for the Dattos. How much did you pick that up for Gordo?

It is going to make for some fun  I havnt had it long enough to test her right out yet but time will tell how long the standard datto ute diff will hold up, but in saying that the diff isnt too bad i think the tyres just get loose so no massive load on the diff

I am going to persist with the datto diff for now until it decides it cant handle it any longer, it seems to be fine at the moment but yeah im driving pretty lightly. And with around 170rwhp we'll see how she holds up with the heavy driving. Once it goes bang then ill upgrade, something LSD and something that'll hold

Get a Ford 9". Never break a diff again! The extra weight would probably slow you down a bit though

Nice buy 8)

I even had to head out for my first trip out the TBAR to take a look see at her.... And yeah there are plenty of options on a diff, the 9 inch is obviously the top of the line and big bucks especially once you get them cut down the suit. And they are pretty massive  would make for some serious fun though
