Are all push rods interchangeable? ie same size. If I find I have a couple of wonky ones can I pinch some from another motor?

There are 2 different lengths,,, small bore,,, & big bore,,, the rest of the shape differences don`t really matter

Whilst on the subject of pushrods, shouldn't the ends of the pushrods that go into the cam follower match that cam follower. If so you can remachine the end of the pushrod down then just buy new followers? Would the end of the machined pushrod be hardened in any way? :?
