Are all push rods interchangeable? ie same size. If I find I have a couple of wonky ones can I pinch some from another motor?

There are 2 different lengths,,, small bore,,, & big bore,,, the rest of the shape differences don`t really matter

No offence intended here but--> anyone writing a book about minis 30 years ago may not have experienced such worn or stuffed-with components as we are finding these days.

You should put your heart & soul into everything you do.

Whilst on the subject of pushrods, shouldn't the ends of the pushrods that go into the cam follower match that cam follower. If so you can remachine the end of the pushrod down then just buy new followers? Would the end of the machined pushrod be hardened in any way?
