Hello,
I'm still learning my way round this car. I expected it to be simple to walk into the local AutoOne and get a cap for my Rover. I then realised that it must be different to Morris models? Mine is a 1994 1275i. Can anyone please tell who could supply this locally?

Found some info for you from my husband (John). This is his reply.

Haven't had to chase one.

A friend got one from Northern Mini Parts (on the second try) a few months back. Where is this person - Brickworx or Paul Skinner would have them interstate. Link and Minis Plus would probably have them too here in Melbourne. Places like Auto One or Bursons may have them but would probably have to order them in - if you knew the part number because they wouldn't have anything to look them up in.

Just ring around and ask for an A+ or Metro one (that is held on by 2
screws)

I would also think that brickworx would have one in SA (ausmini member)

Same goes for Rover parts, brickworx (SA), NMP(VIC), Ozcooper & karcraft (NSW) just a few I can think of at the moment.

Depends what you are after I guess.

Karcraft stock the cap u want, part No. 45170 which is the electronic dist cap and it costs around $15 - $20.
