Wasn't there an article in TME about one? Not sure who's car it was though.

Damn and blast!

You beat me to it Matt.

If Matt doesn't want it, I would love it, Steve. (whispers, never throw out anything related to history of the Mini witrhout offering it to me, mate  )

Anyway, I would love to get hold of a copy of the story and a high-res scan of the cover.

Yes, we had a brief one-page feature on the Ecurie De Des in Issue 8, when featuring the Mini K recently built by Des. The fastback in the story was owned by a chap named Russell Holehouse, and I photographed it about 12 years ago (four-page story in Issue 4 of Mini Magic - way back in 1997, and also featured in Mini Magazine, October 1997).

However, I have not been able to track Russell down again, and do not know if he still owns the car. Any information would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Watto.
