sheesh, I doubt very much Id get those speeds out of my baby. It never was good on top speed but plenty of torque, thats why I thought it would be perfect for hillclimbs.
The 998 gearbox and diff is the problem, but Im not about to change them. I get top end speed thrills out of the 'other car', get it up to 210km/h before 90degree bend at Barbagallos.. I think I'll be lucky to get 150km/h in the Mini with the gearbox and diff I have. :(

*looks at calendar... can I have it ready for 1st event of the year?

Brad, I was looking at a post you had made in a previous thread. You cut and paiste the info but I don't know where from. Half way through the post it stated that you should upgrade (increase the size) of the Master Cylinder. It did not go on and elaborate why you need to but just said you should.

yeh i did upgrade the master to the late model clubby LS twin circut one, i have been told these have the same bore size and pressure as the metro turbo masters...

I think i have found alot more pedal, at wakefiled after the first session i adjusted the rears so they were perfect and bleed the system before i went, there was air in the booster, so after the rears where done i had alot better pedal.

So 13sec, you have a twin circuit brakes and a brake booster?

If so I presume you only boost the front brake lines? right :?: :?:

Or have you found some way of boosting both brake lines ? Or am I totally wrong?

1 of the lines goes to the booster and then to the front calipers, the other line goes straight to the rears via a brake light switch. That is the same master i have, but the top outlet looks alittle different, looks to have some sort of switch or something.
