Well guys and gals, wakefield has been run and won... We had a great turn out in the end (thought there would only be 3 minis) 8 minis turned up, many types on show, 3 hybrids, cooper s, panel van, matic,clubbie and deluxes.
Track was empty, there was only a couple of other street cars there so the minis had plenty of room to show what there capable of. Fastest i saw at the end of the 400 metre straight was off the dial
only goes to 180,,, but didnt have the balls to late brake at that speed so lost lots of time in the braking.
Everyone escape pretty much trouble free, kev (dr mini) had a scare on the first session with a smokey engine breather, turned out to be a loose head
Luckiest person of the day goes to simon in hes panel van, was absolutely ripping up the track before he's left front rotor cracked right thru and hes wheel looks like it was held on by the hub nut by 2-3 threads,,, he was lucy because he was the only guy to bring a trailor
Anyway there are some pics up in the events section, hope to see all you guys at the next one, had a blast out there today.

but you wont be able to hold me back once Marcia is up and going. I'm going over to look at some pic's now 
if i wanted the car to go further out on the corner id just let it go, if i needed to get i closer to the apex just stomp on the throttle,, it was great fun
