Occasionally there are bargains on ebay. I just picked up a set of original magnesium minilites with near new A008's, to suit a Mk 2 cooper S. They are original 1960's set and had only been used for a couple of weeks, and are immaculate. For some reason they werent under "mini" but just under wheels. I was the only one bidding and picked them up for the opening price of $450. Bargain. Gotta love ebay.

Neat....if they are truly magnesium then it could pay to have them crack tested before use...........30 years and Mg is a little worrysome

gaf, the rebels look great, had them modified to fit blown and restored. Have a small problem though, the other rims I am using are 3 piece and the actual inside area of the rim is bigger. My discs are 10.5 inch diameter and the calliper scrapes on the inside of the rebel rims. I am having them machined to remove a mm from the inside and I will have to remove about 1.5 mm removed from the calliper. After all that they should fit. I am using them as track wheels but the slicks may see a few outings on the road.

Hi,
Were they the 13inch ones? If so do 13inch fit straight on a mini.
Thanks
