I'll play with it appearing from the bottom, rather than from the sides, too... maybe tomorrow though :lol:

Sorry, I dont like the fading badge thing.

I think just having a catch phrase will be enough.... 2 things arent really necessary, in my opinion.

My list of names would be less age specific...... eg

1. Not much to say.
2. Kinda shy
3. Chatty
4. Kinda loud
5. Far too much to say. <---- willy :wink:

Or maybe drop the catch phrase and just have the 5 picture rating.

Nice job either way. :wink:

Agreed, Poeee nice job!!!!!!!!!. Idead: when you reach a certain milestone (eg. 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000 etc) you have the badge change colour maybe???, like BRG, Marine Blue, Bronze, Silver, Gold :?

My thoughts for the day.............

Yea plenty of people are at 2000+..make it so hardly anyone has a full badge, give people something to aspire to..

You could rate people by engine size:

1=850
2=998
3=1098
4=1275
5=1310/60/80...1400.. whatever

Hey thats a good idea 8)

Mini Mad pinched this idea from MiniMania where he is/was a mod.. :lol:

<edit> OK I wuz wrong- it was MiniPortal... :oops:

Good work poeee. Only I thing I suggest is please, please don't name any of the groups after racing mini drivers, or technical things. Remember there are those of us who know absolutely nothing about mechanical/technical things.

Plus... what do people think of the idea of the snippets of the badge, and it growing the more posts you get?

Poeee....full marks for trying!....but I think spanners or something might be better....as half or 1/4 of a badge looks pretty daggy. Other forums that use this system seem to have 5 items as the full rank whatever they are, and as users post more, they collect one extra item till they hit 5.

Names for the groups is a hard one......

I also like this ranking system! :wink: It has to be Mini related!
