You could always narrow and shorten in , give it an electric motor and then you'd have a decent little electric gopher buggy to help Sue while her ankles weak ??? At least then she'd be driving a moke and can't say they are useless :wink:

77 Clubman Estate:
- Remove what's left of the stereo
- Replace front window rubber to cure leak (have new rubber)
- Touch up paint to tide it over until I can repaint it completely
- repair rusted out rear door
- secure edges of carpet

69 Mk II
- Body completely stripped of parts, awaiting paint stripping and panel patching (Overall very good but a couple of small holes)
- Metro engine and brakes awaiting
- brand new wheels (12x6 deep dish) and tyres waiting in cool dark place.
- subframes stripped and POR15ed
- parts distributed in garage, shed and attic...

I can't beleive it, no ones mini is leaking oil and coolant but mine, crap, even my spare engine on gearbox assemblys are leaking.

77 van
-OIL LEAKS
-COOLANT LEAKS
-leaky wheel cylinders
-leaky exhaust
-leaky door and window seals
-speedo flies round and sticks on 120 sometimes
-crakced window
-an oil spill made the rear carpet lumpy
-rusty spots
-paint on wing is cracking
-weak handbrake
-sealed beam headlights
-dust from Hay last year

76 clubby
-it only has a fresh painted body, subframes and wheels.

RC mini
-understeering problem
-scratches on the body

Ok my pea green monster..

Alternator required
Body work repairs, some rust removal
Complete respray
Interior needs to be re-done
new rims and tyres
Carby could use a good clean
new steering wheel

Ok that's the bad stuff, good things
Interior light works
The bumpers are in great condition
good brakes
good clutch
good suspension
the spiders keep the flys under control

Thats because they leaked from new - most people wouldn't count oil leaks on their things to do list unless rego was due.
