hi.. possible stupid question

just about to install a thermostat in the mini (was an empty hole before)...

anyway while reading the numbers on the new thermostat I noticed it had 96C on it.. does that mean it opens at 96C?!! Because I bought it as an 82C one...

it's a columbus, part number (on the box) AS240180, and on the thermostat itself is stamped WTI 96C J6 180..

thanks,

Tim.

The important bit is the 180.
180°F = 82°C

another question.. this time about bottom hoses...

the hose I got is the type for 1275 with heater. the main problem is that it seems to rub at the rear, against the firewall/brace.. do these hoses usually require a bit of trimming at the ends? I figure if I take 5mm off the top end of it it will bring it forward a little.

Yep if too long just trim a bit off.
When they made em here, they were the right length...
