I dont wanna bitch or anything (well actualy sorry yes I do) and the changes to the forum are great and everything, but why are we using the BMW mini badge as the forum symbol? I mean respect to the binis but this forum is so much more of a mini forum. Hell poeee you just have a mini and I think all the poor p plater students who are the moderators drive minis too (or maybe a few 82 model rx7s and rusty CRXs too).

But anyway cant we have a mini specific symbol?

Um... this badge was used on the ROVER Minis before BMW got into the act.
Personally, I'd like to see a nice Morris Bull logo.. 8)

I think the wing badge would look great on Captain Jones, who flys for Qantas....

But hey....at least it gets away from the default look that ausmini has had for yonks.....

I can also see the point of it allso but as Dr said it was used by Rover.
If were to use the bull...then the Clubby owners would complain

It's similar, but it is not a BINI badge, this is:

Image

Notice the the squashed up 'fat' look similar to the new car...

This is a rover cooper badge:

Used on car's from about 89' on?

It's much better than nothing ;)

Since the mini came badged under so many companies during it's production run, it's going to be a little hard to keep everyone happy
