Why would I ever need to get a mini if Kirsten already has one? :|

yea, i had my mats up last nite, so it was showing them all. Normally they are hidden. :) That would be for my Kick arse, stereo system. :) Plus a few neons that i still have left in the car.

Lol you obviously didn't peek into the car on the formal nite then, lol it was outrages how many cords i had going everywhere, with all the neons, and extra subs, and things i had hanging off it, plus my car sercurity system, that i had put in only just hrs before the formal,(the siren one) which i later found out, that you loved emensly  , my mechanic, who drove Bluey for me, when he got into the car, he was like, OMGFG, lol there must have been about 15 times more wires running everywhere then there is now, all of which was running directly to the battery, with a few switches to turn them all off, the switches can be seen still ontop of my dash, infront of the steering wheel. They illuminate Blue, wen switched on :)

Oh and the mess on the passengers side of the car, is all my uni txt books and stuff, so apologies on that mess you may be able to see.

In my antiques collection I have an early `60s 12V dashboard mounted fan.
But if I mount it up on the dash I bet the first NSW cop that sees it would give me a ticket these days.
So, as I've not had a ticket since 1969, I'll leave it off.

they will book you because it is impeding your line of sight, not because you have a fan. Count yourself lucky lockie you havent been booked yet for those switches infront of your eyes that light up blue
theres a saying at work
"legal to sell, illegal to fit"
pretty much applies to all light sources in the cabin when the car is onm that werent factory, such as neons, light switches etc etc.

Are you ok Lockie :?: Have you been smoking something you shouldn't :?:

These have to be in the way of vision, in this pic you can see the fan is about 3 times the width of the A panel but you seem to think they are the same. You can also see them to be about the same size as the rear view mirror, that is not little.

Even if you only use them in traffic, what do you do, start unclipping and moving them when the traffic starts moving :?: How safe can that be :?: The only time you should be doing this is when you are stopped, so next time you are in traffic by all means use your fans, but when the traffic starts moving pull over to the side of the road so you can unclip them in safety.

Wake up and take your hand off it Lockie :!:

Don't you think I already know that!

i never use them for "on road puposes, its a waste of time. Only for shows and events, do i use them, at which the car is always stationary, showing off its beauty.

they have a clip that i don't even need to look at to press, just like your light switch, to turn on. It takes about 1 second to take them off, and unless you are completely blind you shouldn't even need to take your eyes off the road. It is no different to turning on your headlight switch, or whippers switch. It takes the same about of time, and concentration. So I am obviously not going to stop just to do that, otherwise, you mite as well tell me that everytime you turn on your whippers or headlights, you pull over? Thats just stupid, and most likey more dangeruous being on the side of the road, for that little of time, impeeding traffic, and getting up to speed again. Winding up your window while driving, would require about ten times more concentration to do, then uncliping these fans. You obviously don't realize, how easy it is to take them off, and I'm not going to bother explaining.

My rear view mirror is not the standard mini mirror, its a sports type, hence much smaller. I went and measured its width for you and its only 9cm wide. Look at that on your ruler, not very big, not even the width of my hand.

If I say they are not in the way of my vision, I mean that they are not in my way of vision. I would have no reason to fib about this. If you don't believe me thats fine, doesn't really worry me, because I've got what I want, and its perfectly safe, and legal, for the purposes that I am using them for. Already went and looked at the QDOR's website. So you can winge all you like.

Sorry to be rude as such to anyway here, but i get annoyied easily when i did say right at the start of the thread, that the picture made it look funny, just the angle it was taken at, I guess, and yet people still seem to think they have it all worked out, and want to have have a go at me.

Next time just look at was written first, and have faith in your fellow ausmini members. :x

you can plug them straight into the cig lighter if you wish, or have them pluged up to the battery, at which i have got them wired at the moment. They are great for turning your appliances on or off.

Press the button, and they illuminate Blue, and the appliance hooked up to it, will turn on. Press it again, and it will turn off the appliance, and the Blue light will also go off. So you can still have power running to the switch box, and no lights illuminating until you press it on. In one box you can have up to 4 appliances hooked up to it. I have 5 boxes in total, 3 on the dash, and 2 under the dash. Tho like i said, i never use it anymore, the car rarely goes to the shows anymore, (time permitting)

If you want to know where to get them, pm me and I will let you know. Rather do it this way, that way people don't come badgering me
