The Elder head is made here and is lots cheaper (and easier to get) than an Arden. Both flow pretty well now as GR developed the port shapes.
I'd ask him which is best.. but for the road I doubt the Arden is worth the extra. Arden needs a special camshaft too, as the lobe layout is different.
Nope, both Elder and Arden heads are alloy 8 port. The only current 7 port is the AKM one (cast iron), now sold by Minisport.
