That's terrible and hillarious at the same time.

I just love stuff like that when the recipient of the piss-take has no idea

Always get good comments when out and about in the Clubby Van. But nothing compares to the reaction of driving a Moke.
On one trip to North-western NSW, we arrived in the opal minig town of White Cliffs (280-odd km north-east of Broken Hill). We parked in the main street (actually, about the only street) and these two tourists came up to us, a guy and a girl. (I was surprised to even see tourists up there) They spoke with strong US accents and began asking everything about the Moke, ending up with photos of the two of them in it. They went away saying the best thing about White Cliffs was seeing this strange little car! I was quite chuffed.
But, that is just one of many, many good stories from my days with the Moke.....
I really must get my backside into gear and get it back on the road.
Watto.

Just thinking back on the way to Hay one year i was sitting at a set of lights in Wagga, i was in my Galant VR4 with the MK1 on the trailer (the only way 2 fly) i had a guy in another VR4 on one side & a guy in a mini on the other, there were more thumbs up & heys that you could poke a stick at, they both followed me into Macca's & dribbled on both my cars while i had lunch. I safely say that would never happen again.

back in 1991 when i was at uni, there was a charming lass who was into cars, and had a pretty wild 78 celica. i had a mate in the mini and when we came to an intersection, she and her mate saw us, so i revved it up and dropped the clutch, while my mate hung out the window making gestures like he was paddling a canoe. when we met them around the corner, she said it was the cutest 1 wheel burnout she had ever seen  made my day :!:

i get love in my flippy.
but the baby blue 850 pvan got so much love, it wasn't funny lol.

things off the top of my head:
next to a combi van (clean as) at a set of lights, he winds down window and go's "NICE CAR MAN!" im like "you too" knowing mine was cooler

first day i got the pano i was near the bay, at a set of lights and a kid walking along the sidewalk grabbed his camera and took a photo of my car

and well im sure u've seen this before, but on the way back from melbourne some chicks drove passed and took a photo of my mini, they then sped off and i couldnt catch em (it was an 850  )

they came back bout 5 minutes later and my mate got a photo of them asking for my number

so proud of my pano :)
