3/8 UNF mostly. Except late Clubbies with tandem brakes are 10mm on the M/C and the FAM valve (on firewall).
just as Doc has said. the 10mm thread is 1mm pitch and when you look at the two types of fittings they look the same. Until you measure them with a veriner and check with a thread pitch guage then you can tell the difference.
The 3/8"unf will screw into the 10mm fitting, but it feels a little loose. When you tighten it up it will strip the thread.
The 10 mm X 1mm thread will most times start into the 3/8" thread, but after it is part way in it goes tight. Most people just give it a bit more and again a stripped thread.
If you get new lines made up with new fittings MAKE sure that the blokes doing it are aware to check the fitting to get the right thread. I have run across cars that had new lines made up and the wrong threaded fittings on them. IE 10mm ones on the cross over line on the front wheel cylinders, stuffed line and stuffed wheel cylinders
