hee hee,,, i just couldn`t resist showing you all this,,, a friend of mine runs another mini forum & one of the local guys (Tilka) posted this up-->

Now it`s funny to me because i have already got a few of these & i also found a few speaker box trumpets to play with too,,, so it`s wild what can actually be achieved with very little money,,, but maybe a little brains,,, anyways,,, check it out-->

I did this ages ago, (probably when this article first came out). I got the eggcups and shaved them off as shown, then cut an alloy plate to the size for a 1.5 inch SU. I then found a long shot glass that neatly tapered from the egg cup shape down to the bore of the carb. After roughing up the stainless and alloy I bogged the whole lot together with steel impregnated fibreglass reinforced bog. It set a bit crooked but it worked. I never got around to making the second one though, so never tried it out.

I think I gave it away to a friend so I'll hunt down a pic if I can.
Shotglass was kind like this, you look like an idiot buying one though, trying them all with a tape measure.
