found these on ebay today.
custom permanent etched halogen h4 lights
these are for a bike but he says he can do what ever you want.
might suit people out there who want to add something different to there mini..come show time.
could get the ausmini logo done or what ever...
cant copy photo as he must have it copywrited or something...

They look very trick. If he could get a mini/ausmini logo on them i would be interested. Does anyone know if they could be used as spotlights?

i think he could do any light....as long as your willing to pay...anything is possible
if i did it idd be doing spot lights too...

I'll take a big stab and say to the letter of the law no.......unless you could prove that it did not have an impact on the focus and intensity of the light unit......

However It would probably be a minor change to the output if any at all...

As for the legality of them , if they are permanent (they look like they are sandblasted or chemically etched onto the glass) as they say then they technically wouldn't be legal without the testing mentioned above . Cut a shape out of clear contact and put it on your lights and see the difference at night , you'll have extra shadows creeping into your vision in certain conditions . It's most likely one of those things that if you are pulled up for something (speeding , being loud , hooning etc) you might get a warning to change them unless your rude to the copper in which case it would probably get you a defect .
