Hey.

My name is James Dean, live in brisbane, the mini lives on the gold coast, its a 1965. Got it in the worst condition ever and am doing a complete build, it will hopefully be an old at heart car, with the look of the new style mini. :)

Don't know much about mini's, im quite into the jap import scene so you probably see me around in my lancer.

well anyways...

HEYY.

Welcome to Ausmini James, try and catch up with some of the Brissie folk, they seem to be out and about a lot. Keep your eye on the Planned Events section

Cheers,

Dicko

Go and enjoy the time with them in whatever you can. You will learn much from talking with them and can probably get help and assistance when needed.

If you are ever in Toowoomba people seem to think I know what I'm talking about  Plus, I just like having a chat anyway...

Just so you know you may be able to get a ride with someone on a mini run or if you are lucky you could be a 'support vehicle' on a mini run in your lancer :)

Actually, your car would probably be more individual if it was stock standard.

Please tell us you're not going to build a fully sick triple turbo neon powered mini with 23 inch chrome rims and a million watt stereo?

it has a stock MR kit, kitted lancers look stupid in most cases.

No im not going to try and do that stuff my mini, although the million watt stereo sounds nice lol.

Nuh i am going to try and make it a little JDM style, so black rims, low (i like my cars low). But i will be putting a largish sound system in it.

Hello everyone. I'm Sam from Randwick NSW. I have a 97 Rover Cooper Mpi with a John Cooper Conversion. New to the Mini Scene in Aus but I am looking forward to Hay in June. What should I expect?

Hi Sam.

Keep an eye on the Hay Mini Nationals area on Ausmini. You'll find plenty on what to expect there.

Look out for all the details soon on the convoy from Sydney to Hay. Hope to see you there. :)
