Is that on a Remote or a rod change. My Alfa is very similar hight but I sit lower in the seat...you must have long arms..

is that because the stick is too short to get the right leverage easily??? i constantly think that when I have probs getting mine into gear.... and my box was reco'd only a yr ago and i havent thrashed it....

yeah it's like the standard stiffness to engage first but 10 times worse. I think it is because the reduced leverage..

yeah mine is cut, but not by me.. i wouldnt have cut it so short..
driving a mini in the first place means you don't have to compensate for anything.
