This was either a special order run or a contract conversion - Known as the Beach Car used down in the Carabean and also California Read a story about them - can't remember the details.

Just had a thought- Since these Beach Cars were built by BMC for special orders would that be classed as 'production car' and would it be required to be engineered if a sedan was converted?
