I think one of the big issues here is that he had trouble doing his work and so he "modified" your console without contacting you. that to me is not professional so i would not let him do anymore work.
if he had rung and said "hey mate, we have a problem here, we want to modify the console, is that ok" , then that would be professional.

if you have the receipt for the console, show him that and say you will be deducting that amount off the bill.

or, call fair trading and see what they suggest.

yes i have a Receipt.
yes! you are so right..

this guy.. cut my new extractors made for a mini & said oh they did not sit right for me. wtf!!

Im going to have a good talk to them in the morning & show them what it cost me. dick heads!

no problems with paying money but why cant people do a good job, next time ill just have to do it my self & baby sit while they do everything.

Only a d!ckhead would cut the pipe. They are supposed to point to the right a bit.
What he should have done is put a 5° bend in the front pipe to match it.

They were brand new Stainless Extractors, weren't they? :( Given you're selling your Wildcat Extractors on eBay... :? Those Wildcats look big - what size bore are they?

I hope you're using a Reputable Mini Specialist. It really doesn't sound like you are, and it sounds like you're showing us all how tough it can be when you find the wrong people to work on your car.

there is no one in brisbane that could do the work i needed done.

i know the good ones matt'y ken. this is more electrical stuff & exhaust stuff.

the ones on Ebay are 1-3/4 & brand new as well. he wanted to cut them as well before i took them back of same as LCB's

i wanted the LCB ones Cause they look Sexy. saying that when am i going to look at them really.

if they muck up one more thing the car is out of there & Ill take it back home & get the guy to wire & pipe the Aircon at my place.

Matt and Ken undoubtedly have the skill/knowledge/ability to do the work you're getting done, but they have a major problem. :? The fact that instantaneous cloning isn't available. Great blokes, but they just don't have enough time. :( They need more like 48 hours every day! It's a shame that Matt thinks he should have a life - surfing, biking, racing... :P
