Well i must say this last few days has been a real stretch. I have never driven so far in a straight line before. And never been so worried about fuel.
Lightning Ridge was awesome, some stories to tell and plenty of pics to show.
I saw a mini in Lightning Ridge but it was in a garage under a tarp and looked like it was aging.
The drive to Bourke is just nuts, its a long long way for a mini, and boy did i surprise everyone in the Outback. You never see a mini in Bourke.
Ill be heading to Broken Hill in the next couple of days, so any Mini Peoples in the area, let me know 0488 080 086, sms is probably best, im always out of range.
And im keen to meet up with people for either a run into Adelaide or possibly a run into Melbourne, depending on my finances.
Ill publish pics and text soon.
The Mini was maturing under the tarp like a fine wine....enjoy the trip, watch the temp guage! like a hawk!!
