if there is enough interest we could get 2 containers, 1 for sydney, 1 for melb....maybe 1 for adelaide as well? i have no idea how much stuff you can fit in a container though, 3 containers maybe is too much?????

If we are name dropping... My brother is at Loughborough Uni in the UK near Leicester and is great mates with John Cooper's grandson. The grandson drives the top notch special vehicles when they are not being used for promotions. My brother had a drive himself in late 04 but was scared s*itless of crashing it.

How does one prove they have owned a vehicle for over 12 months, to bring back as a personal import (if it is unregistered) ?

Probably the best thing would be a DVLA log book showing SORN declaration.

SORN = Statutory Off Road Notiification. Means the car is still registered but its not used on the road or taxed for road use. Should satisfy DOTARS? Porbably best to check with them.
