I Am wondering if anyone knows if there is a non return valve on the original Hydro pumps? Anyone got a parts diagram for the pump. I am trying to ascertain why mine is really hard to pump with....

Not sure Ive only used one myself twice (i dont have one of my own yet), but it would make sense if there were non return valves - one on the feed line and one on the evacuation line - the same rating as the rear line valves.

I fitted one when I made my hydro pump.

It works well - I haven't tried it without it though. It's the red thing.

I have a separate vacuum pump which runs off my air drill.

I dont use one on my homemade hydro pump. The schrader valve acts as a non return valve.
But when using the low-loss chuck like on the original pump there would have to be some sort of non return valve otherwise it will never pump up.
