We miss you already.
You loved your mini's, and the mini scene has lost a great guy.
We are all thing of you.
Rest in peace

A good friend of many in Adelaide, and Australia alike.
Very well liked; an easy going guy who loved to take life 'as it comes', and enjoy times with friends.

He will be missed.
I am sure that times in Hay won't be the same without his presence.

Chris Smith, our memories are with you.

Although I did not personally know him, i feel the loss as he was a member of our family and my heart goes out to his family and friends.

A recent post from Smithy has touched me in this instance and I hope his family keeps this in mind

we passed each other a couple of times on the way to hay,
its devastating to hear it was one of us, and i feel very sad the way it happened.

We found out the terrible news on Friday night in Hay, he will be missed, a true larger than life kinda guy. RIP.

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

I guess what Gaf is trying to say is that Smithy's passing was unexpected and the facts are yet to be established. Until some details can be confirmed, it would be preferred that people not speculate about what happened on the forum. 8)

Not a problem, I would expect nothing less.
