Cleaned the engine bay and gearbox of the 850 before assembling the 1100 block onto the clean gearbox. Just have to get some paint on the engine bay and subframes before dropping the engine assembly back in.

Finally figured out all the hoses from the carby to the charcoal cannister and the crankcase to the carby and the float bowl to the cannister and the..... you get the idea.
First time it has idled properly since I got it a month ago.

Now need to tweak the timing and mixture to get rid of the intermittent flat spot around 2000rpm.

Just had a thought could the flat spot be caused by low oil in the dash pot?
Will have a look in the morning.

Gaf,
Had a few bits and pieces needed to get it up and running, and by the time I spend a few hours a weekend on it, and chase 'round for parts it was easier just to pass it over and say get it done. The sooner it is done, the sooner I can register it and advertise it again.

Then I went to Lillee's and pumped his hydro up. And drank a few Beez Neez... :P
