Just fix the old one, it ain't rocket science. Most wear parts are available.
Or, give to someone who has done them before. Like me (in Sydney) or TheMiniMan in Brissy.

ok how much am i looking at?

ill be honest, the current one in the car is fine but i just wanna get it recond or a new one.

i don't have the time, to much music work on right now.

i was told i should there is some work re-sleeving them etc etc?

amongst other things.

i'm sure it would be simple prob take 3 times the normal amount if i was to do it haha :) I'm sure a mini PIMP like you could fly through it :)

i would send it your way if i was in syd for sure!

whats the going rate for it?

I heard because some of the English ones are English no more.
When you can get 30 years out of an oil filled Oz one before it gets loose, why not just rebuild it.

BTW when you fit the replacement UK racks you should fit UK Mk2> steering arms too. But, who bothers...

Still need to drop sub frame

But only a few inches.
Unless it's a Moke one from Kingaroy that I have, the PO used the gas axe on the subby to avoid doing this. NOT recommended...

i got the one from minisport a while ago. it has been fantastic so far - 5-6months in. had to undo the 4 subframe bolts etc etc. it fiddley to get ol one out and new one in because of small space.

edit: my old one was too far gone to reco so thats why i got new one
