mate dont bother... he's not doing them anymore :(, i was after 2 sets before he left and then just before he left he said he was gonna do them for anyone now.


im interested to know if nolathane company would make a set though.. i went to a suspension and brakes training night on tuesday and the reps from nolathane were there.. i asked if it was possible to make them for a uni joint.

they said it was possible and wondered what car and reasons for it.. i explained because they would out live the rubber type and would resist oil better blah blah blah.. they suggested me to ring there technical service line and see what they say about it..

Just to set the record straight.
1 I am not making these unis because they are a crap design. The U bolt set-up is :shock:

2 I am looking at a alternative cv joint set-up to replace the rubber uni. I have adapted cv joints off a bmw/VW/passat to the mini drive shafts. the cv's are easier to replace, cheaper to buy. not like mini pot joints.

3 I am not making bits at this stage until I clear my own work load that has piled up.

4 As I make componets for my self,like gear box conv, lsd, coil over suspension,alloy flywheels etc etc, I will post details for those who are interested. Like the honda conv, it's there if you want to have a go at it,but until it has proven it's self I am not supplying them.
