Probably would.. but then again... any turbo is more than capable of destroying ANY engine if you let if have its way !!

keep boost below 12Psi and everything would be cool i reckon....

Anything with over 8:1 compression would struggle with 12PSI !

general rule of thumb over 10 psi a intercooler is needed.

i am running 7.8:1 comp and run upto 16psi with no problems yet over 16 and i oftern blow head gaskets. with my setup anything over 12 psi and my intake temp gets up to 100 degress according to my multi meter.

so my new motor is in the early stages but will be running much higher boost and a big cooler to get ideal temp of 15 to 20 degrees.

BK450 gasket and Cosworth forged pistons help.

7.5:1 here...

yep, head gaskets CAN be problem, but rather that than split bores, melted pistons, burned valves etc etc etc...
The Head Gasket becomes a FUSE to save the rest of it !

Later

Deep Dish.. same castings as the "van" castings, but in a high-silicon alloy

James,
Saw a quote from somebody the other day that a stock 940 (or 1316 for that matter) head flows better than a worked 295.
Maybe I just sell one back to you with unleaded ex seats in it?? :P
