i m in the market for an aerial for my mini and ive sen these on all the new BMWs. was just wondering if they could work on a mini?

I guess it would depend on whether there would be an aftermatket outlet for that aerial......... must admit would be sweet if there is an aftermarket copy..... would certainly be different 8)

yeh i reckon they look pretty cool. does that mean i cant get one from a bmw parts centre or off a wrecked car?

You could try BMW Service/Parts centre, but you would need to take one of your nuts to pay for it :oops:

My guess would be to go to a well known Car Audio outlet and see if they have access to an aftermarket version......

yeh ill have to go to an audio shop. i bought new mini badges from a BMW dealer and they were very expensive however they gave me a free pen which was nice...

I looked into buying one of those when I was building mutant. I went to a BMW dealership and yes you can buy them. Not cheap of course. But they did tell me that they were for the mobile phone connections and may not work.

Went to buy paint last week from Auto 1, (not sure if they are on the east coast) cant remember the price but they did stock them in their bling bling section. My suggestion would be to try an auto store in an area where bling bling is important. Suburb I live in is mainly holden and ford, none of the auto stores stock a lot of bling bling. The one I got my paint from has a high ratio of ricers etc It worked out half the store was dedicated to bling bling items. They are out there though, good hunting.
