The remote shift hole looks original, had a bit of a rubber boot around it, dont think thats original tho, but its got a rectangular hole with a bit of a bump out the drivers side.

couldnt find a number in the bonnet channel thing, whereabouts should it be?

no number in the rain cahnnel :S attacked it with a flathead and got it back to metal from about a foot starting in the corner, and got nothing but...metal.lol. Ah well, as long as Transport SA give me a new chassis number or accept the one thats mostly there.

Depends on how much work needs to go into the rear engine mount. If it needs a helluva lot of work, it'll race, if it doesnt need much I'm going to try and register it. Either way I'll be happy, rolling up anywhere with a twini turns heads.
