well i got my gear selector housing/case....
cleaned it all up..repainted it....came up nice...
but no im thinking i have put it together wrong.
the end of the stick dosent go all the way down to the housing part...
only about 5 mm not the full length
im thinking i dont need the sliver spacer but it was on my last car....???
suggestions??

and also the end of the shaft seems to be bent up wards....not much but im not sure if its wright or not??

if the shaft is bent ill be taking it back as i paid good money for this item...$110

That spacer you have under the Blue part has to be on top of it along with the other associated original parts :idea: .
You also have the shifter in back to front .
Turn it 180 degrees along with the blue part :idea:

well i did that but to be honest with you all i cant remember how they bloody thing goes back together... :oops: :oops:

ive got the gear stick...with a ball on the end and a plastic boot the goes on the end....ive got a alloy blue spacer...plus a alloy silver spacer.....ive got a spring and im not sure if its in the right spot plus a plastic washer thing witch is ment to stop the gear stick from viberating???
the only part i no is right is the top plate and bracket .....not sue what it does iether and the bolts....

looked on the net for a break down on how to put together but couldnt find one....
the new kad one looks great though..its ment to be lots better...

wounder if anyone can find a photo on where the parts go ...?????

Ok here's the order,
1. New Blue part.
2. Shifter
3. Alloy Silver Spacer.
4. Nylon Frange washer. (same diamater as inside of Alloy silver spacer)has spiggot for spring one end and radius for ball on other. put it in the right way!
5. Spring
6.Top Plate
