Ok everyone I have a pair of original mini rims (10 x 4.5's) and they are almost ready for the powdercoaters but I am still undicided on what colour I should get them done in, I was thinking that if they look good enough I'll use my crome wheel nuts and not use hub caps but does any one have any suggestions on what colour they should be.

I was goind to get realy good tyres for them and use them on my van for sprint races and things and use my 12 x 5's for crusing round town and showing them off (my dad will probably see this thread and have a go at me for it but I don't care)

This is what the rims look like at the moment ......

Get them chromed.
You will love yourself for it.
But make sure theyre decent enough to get chromed (no dings, scratches, rusty bits)

dude, those rims look absolutely rat sh!t!

You can't get them powder coated too BTW.....apparently the coating cracks around the wheel nuts, and can then cause your nuts to get loose and worst case scenario.....wheel(s) fall off.

So I was told by a local Mini mechanic.

they will need a good sand blast, but the surface looks pretty pitted...maybe too much for chroming?
