I reckon you may have done well there. I've got these English-made Tex items which I bought from Minispares a couple of years ago, they're now listed at £18.09 ex-VAT.

Bullet mirrors aren't anything special, but what makes the Tex ones different (and by the looks of it the one in your pic) is the long arm, which makes the entire mirror quite easily visible from a normal driving position (which the standard-issue short-arm items aren't).

Mine are convex glass, which means I can see everything around me.. that's the only difference I can see between mine and that one in your link.

Nice one! 8)

Wombat, I have the same brand, not bullet but Rover style.
Those plastic screw on `plinth' things that Tex ones all come with are rubbish. They distort in the heat so the locking screw won't hold, and then the slightest touch and the mirror falls off and probably breaks the glass like mine did.
I imported a proper matching chrome Mini plinth from Minispares UK, no problems now. p/no is CZH3521.

Looks better too-

Excellent 8) 8) Brilliant value, half price :!:

Are they flat glass or convex? If flat, do you know if that trader sells the convex version?

I know where you're coming from, but after two years mine are still there.. even with the violent wheel imbalance I've had at 100km/h. Not the most secure mounting in the world, though.

Came flat - you have to contact him and ask if he has convex - [email protected] - trades as A Plus Auto's

Email him - when he first listed last month he only had the right hand one listed - I asked if he had the left as well and he relied that he did and how many did I want - so he has stock
