After a day of driving all over he country side I'm almost home and my clutch pedal goes hard half way down... confused?
I can't engage gears! Can anyone suggest what could be the problem?

I have a 1 year old slave cylinder, the bore of the master looks fine as do the rubbers. The hose to the slave is old but I can see no leaks, but when I push the slave piston in by have I get fine air bubbles in the master. Also now when I try the system I have to pump the pedal to get pressure and it does not last.

Another thing I see to have a lot of free play in the actuator arm and when I spin the bearing plunger it feels a bit crunchy but I get no bad bearing noise.
Any constructive feed back would be appreciated.

Possibly a broken clutch arm (at the ball on the bottom, inside the throw out carrier) Maybe,,, & if so, then "Maybe" the slave piston is now traveling all the way to the end & buttoning on the circlip

Maybe???
