I got my brand new heritage loom from Vinwire today *its awesome!* but I forgot to add I have a gemini starter motor and no old solenoid when I ordered it.
Sooo I have a white with red trace (goes to gemini spade with screw hole) check!
From the 3 wires I have left.. all are brown so must be *live* Am I to assume that all 3 go to the post bolt that has nothing the battery feed on it? Like tell me it doesnt take a 5cm wire to hot wire a mini?

We promise we won't say a word...

The browns all go to the post the battery lead shares on the starter if they are bundled up with the red/white solenoid wire.

O.o Thats.. amazing.. people must have been so much more honest in the 60's? I mean.. no bonnet lock.. no steering lock.. add 5cm wire and sheesh can we say lets all hide the battery isolator switch? But it can still be roll started ?

I have a 'tempory loom' that I use for shifting mini's with incomplete or damaged looms. It's also good for bench testing motors.
All is it is 3 temininals and a bare ended wire.
Had to drive a mini 2hrs home with it once...
