Hey that sounds like on of the motors I got in one of my minis :D except mine has a lightened flywheel, wedged crank, lightend conrods, high lift rockers, a maniflow maifold, 2 x 1/2" SU's, Maniflow LCB,,, and,,,, of course like all Phat Kat inc. motors,,, it has a Flux Capacitor and Beryllium sphere...... (of course, otherwise those trips back to 1955 and the jumps to hyper space get pretty hard .....  )..... and I can tell you that mine gets to the 100km mark in about 7-8 Mississippi’s... so provided your flux capacitor is up to scratch and depending on 500 other variables,,, you could be in for similar (or better :?: ) results :)

hmmmmmm....

I'm going to quote something that some one gave me for an answer once

"I don't to prove anything to you...."

Yeah, bit of a crap answer isn't it.

Nope, its about as spritely as the amazing Mazda 3, and that does it in 7-8 seconds (apparently)... so I'd say that scientifically speaking 7-8 misissispi's is about right.

But hey...

"my achievements speak for themselves, I don't need to prove anything to you"

Hey I could get used to answering peoples questions or statements like this, its much easier than trying to be nice about it.

Want to drop it?

Captain Spacepants, in his 1360cc blown clubby, was about equal with my Polo GTI, which is factory rated to a 7.9 second 0-100.

Note: this was roll on in low 2nd gear, i've no idea what would happen if it was from a standstill.

getting off the line would be the issue - plus the spacepants wagon has a blower plus his amazing driving skills  :P

I am talking na a-series mini from a standing start.

well now that you've cleared that up, blokeinamoke,,,,,,

I'll clear up what I said,,,
,,,,,or rather say it again,,,....

mine performs about as well as an SP23 maybe better (haven't done any kind of serious testing here,, this is just dragging off mates at the lights).... so regardless of how quickly in seconds (or rather mississpi's,,,,, or what ever it was that the guys from that magazine used to time the SP23),,, mine performs about as well as an SP23 maybe better...

Doesn't it suck when someone takes what you've said out of context, for the sake of being a sh1t stirer?

but what you said is

Quote:

What you posted later is the detoxed less bullshit version.

I am not crap stirring. I just think you may have exaggerated quite a bit.
Its easy to dismiss my comments as "crap stirring" except for the truth of them.

So I stepdown from "bullshit" to a more reasonable "pigs arse".
