Okay Ladies and Gents

Can you all Please read the rules just once again. Their are a number of issues that are just going over the edge over the last few months and I'm over it. No I'm not going to be a hard nose but i'm drawing the line on a number of different issues and if I feel like it I will mod your post and give the reason withinn your post as you made your post public so Ill give my explanation public also. If you are using crass words, Personly attack on another Member or go beyond the boundaries consider my reply.
This is a blanket effect and if anyone has a problem with any of my actions by allmeans contact me via PM, MSN or by my MBL# 0404796 758. Yes if You have a problem with me modding one of your post you can call me.

My actions is not to make this forum boring, far from it. I'm wanting this community back to where it was once before. As we all know we have friends that stick by us and other that we loss track off. But the main reason we are here is to talk about Mini's and everything that we enjoy about them. Yep we all have different ways of doing thing and why but its a matter of sharing our information and WHY we do it.

We are about to come into the festive season and i'd like this to happen in Ausmini also as this is my second home. If you do like something, someone has posted advise me via PM and I will reply or action.
Get your ball balls on and lets Enjoy the Turns Together

I must have missed something(s) that caused your post, but I applaud what you're saying.

Another forum that I hang around in, and used to post in, is on a path of self destruction due to egos, abuse, personal attacks, threats of physical violence, and even believe it or not religious persecution - you name it, it's there. And it's supposed to be a motorbike forum. I've given up posting there cos I don't want to be involved in the trash or get attacked for a comment or opinion, but I watch it, like watching a car wreck I suppose. Any complaint to the mods was washed over due to the main protagonist being a mate of the main mod - so pretty clear what's going on.
I certainly wouldn't want to see this forum slide to that level, and it takes strong unbiased modding and the support of all members to keep it that way.
Thank you.
Peter.

Like Peter, I think I've somehow missed what it was that caused this, but well done for saying it. No-one wants Ausmini to go down the toilet, and I think we've all done fairly well for the last five years......we want it to go for another five.

I like what you are saying Gaf.
First off I like ausmini.. a lot...There is quite a number of smarter than average regulars
who freely give away their hard fought knowledge.
Secondly...I don't mind the occasional argument..it can spice things up a bit
and a little fun can be had......BUT for goodness sakes let's all read the posts carefully before entering the
discussion...it would save ourselves a little public embarrassment.
I propose a new rule..It is illegal to post until the entire thread has been read and understood.
And if we have made a mistake...a nice little apology will go along way.
I'm a relative newcomer here, but in my short time I have seen two people
ferociously attacked for no other reason then their method of doing things
appeared to challenge the "old boys".
Both these people have knowledge and experience that few of us can match.
Both these people have made ausmini all the more a richer exsperience with their posts.
The religious zeal they were attacked with was ridiculous.....for goodness sakes....ausmini is meant to be a warm fuzzy place.....
And quite frankly when these mistaken loyalty attacks occur, I think the mods should force a public apology.
Don't mistake what I'm trying to say here...a little sarcasm here and a little humour there or a challenging argumentation,
a little wearing of the heart on the sleeve is a mighty fine thing.
Despite what the song says, ego is a dirty word and has no place in our posts.

I will now hop off my soapbox.

Thank You for your responcers and You have reassured me I'm doing the rite thing. I have previously been a Union Delegate and keeping records on people is something can do very well. Grown adults acting like children or setting others up to get in trouble will not be tolerated. I will embarrass You in a public forum for what you have said. If you want to say something personally do it via PM to that person not in public and bring "Our Forum into Disrupt"

Bitzer has his whistle and check list

Alex to be truthfully I actually know a little more about you than you think I also like to investigate but in saying this I have a lot of secrets on a lot of people in high places for a number of industries and if they crossed my again, they would not be happy.

ASU Australian Services Union and I Looked after over 400 people for 2 1/2 years then left the company. I think the HR Manager of the company was happy when I left

Ok i'm scared now. :(

Nah, fair call Gaf. Things need to be kept in control, thats why people are in control positions and IMO the people who whinge are the trouble causing minority.
