I just had a look at the scan tool we have at work, and found it supports Rover Mini's 1992-1999. We have the adapter cable for 1995 onwards cars, but I don't have the 3 pin Rover one for earlier cars. It seems to support late model jap spec SPI's too.

You'd probably be suprised and find many workshops would have compatible scan tools for them. Although they may not have the correct rover 3 pin adapter.

If anyone has any dramas with a '95-'99 SPI or MPI in Melbourne, I might be able to help you out.

Andrew

Just thought I'd give a quick update and let you know the interest in the Rover Mini compliance is growing steadily. So far we have complied a few cars and have more coming in the new year. Here are a couple going out for Christmas. They're both Mini Cooper 40th's and on their way to Qld

All the cars are customers own ones they have sourced from Japan.

Merry Christmas to you all.

Chris.

Whilst we could be interested in a trade in, I'm not sure what the going rate for a used left testicle is in the open market?

Just to let people know, I have a diagnostic tool, and I am happy to help people out in SA.... Just after a small contribution to help cover the purchase cost. Get in touch if I can help.
