Used to be a heap of readers on the market in the mid to late 80's when Pharmacies went from Microfilming prescritions to computers. Some old pharmacies that are also horders may still have one out the back store room

Not being a pedant... but correct spelling is `microfiche'

I can't help it if spelling was my best (only good) subject! 8)

Unless they are a very recent fiche they will not be very useful for part numbers. All the old part numbers have superceded many times. The numbers quoted in the above posts are not part numbers per se but numbers cast into the parts for production identification. The parts fiche will be great if assembling a car during restoration.

Anyone want a Fiche Reader? I put a feeler out on a Pharmacy Forum and have one in Melbourne and two in Sydney. PM me and I'll send details and you can negotiate directly.

Visit your library........Id say almost every library in Australia would have a reader. Our uni has quite a few, but any public library would have 'em.

Carb Kit Part Numbers

Dellorto - DE250
SU(HS2, HS4s) - SU750
