I am gob smacked at the price of the item on ebay, but congratulation to those bidding for keeping restorations honest and accurate. May the best man win.

I was thinking the same thing. Hell, I only paid $250 for the car.

I saw 2 yesterday. One was bigger diameter on the (thin) flange and was NOS.

Is that speculation or do you know something we don't?

For the record I think it's great that the really hard (or impossible) to get parts such as plastic brake/clutch tanks, seat belt clips and Cooper S ash trays are being re-manufactured. I'd be happy if these fuel pump breather nipples also become available if it meant the restoration of a few more cars can be completed.

Let's just say I'm confident they are coming sometime soon (but not from me).

... and here I was thinking the genuine Clubman GT gear knob on eBay was expensive !!

At least you can see the gear knob without having to crawl under the car.

I don't have very good tools on my computer for creating a dimensional drawing, but here's a drawing I created for an Ausmini member. Metric dimensions were not even, so most are standard. I know there are a few measurements I left out, like the diameter of the smaller circular piece on the shaft which is 27/64" or 10.75mm.
