On my facebook page I have just posted a set of photos that were sent to me showing some hoons who did a big rev and dumped the clutch. The damage is incredible.

have a look and feels free to share.

Mike

i had a look mike, nasty stuff, although i have seen those set of pictures before,

8500 rpm clutch drop is huge, rev limiter on a 32 is set at 8200 who in their right mind would hold it on limiter then clutch it, tahts asking for trouble!

this is my best effort twice  and both times i wasnt doing anything illegal whatsoever. i guess thats the price of performance, something down the line breaks

:-)

Not to mention the clutches , CV jopints spits & axle breakages

they`re quite spectacular smashings even going slow :-)

i like the turbo honda civic drag video i posted up here somewhere,,, split the box off the engine & smashed everything else around the entitre engine bay

I remember a couple years back i was at the Auto Salon on the Gold Coast and i was watching a RX3 mazda on the dyno they had done 2 runs i can't remember the exact hp but it was around the 600hp mark, on the 3 run the gearbox let go and exploded the internals just literally dropped onto the floor, it was a absolute mess. Biggest gearbox let go i have ever seen. Wish i had a camera.
