After 6 months of inactivity (and 6 months of slackness), my mini lives!!!

thought it had a BHG, changed that, same problems, finally got around to changing the head and slapped on a duplex timing chain while we were at it.

still got to attend to a few issues (need new choke cable, adjust brakes, tighten fan belt) but it's running great! got to tune it up, i'd say, just to keep it sweet.

next job: rear wheel bearings. then consider complete overhaul of brakes

I've just got a complete brake overhaul on my rebuild. Kept the black rubber hoses but went with copper/nickel brake lines! they look sh1t hot! the only thing that hasn't been done is the discs, they'll clean themselves up on the first drive![/url]

yeah, poeee recently built the brakes on his van so i'll be asking him for advice/what parts i'll need as well (umm... all of them?)
