I paid around $1400 from memory for an 1100 S with all it's accessories still attached ready to bolt in and rip it up.
I've paid 1k for a bare A+ auto setup.
Depending if it's just a bare engine, head and box in running order I'd guess any where between 1k through to 3k for a ready to bolt in 2nd hand unit. I'd imagine if it's cooper S or GT numbered it may be a little more.

Sorry the crank's in my 1412 stroker, and 1275 blocks (with caps) are worth more of krudd's dollars now.

Personally, I'd take an 1100S rebuilder and recondition it, every time. Parts are cheap.
You don't know what condition S/H runners are really in, usually.

I'd contact Josh `miniimports' in Melb if you want a late model goer though.
He has a veritable pile of em.

I have been luckly enough to pick up complete 1100s manual & autos in M1100 S's at "Pick a part" for around $150 a few times. These days you should be able to purchase a complete A+ engine & trans for around $1000. Andrew at NMP must of brought hundreds of them in from the UK by now but I dont know what he charges for them these days.
