Hi

Has anyone put hood lining in the back of a van ???

how did you do it ??

any photos ??
would be appreciated.

Don't have any photos but I removed the original lining, got some black carpet from Clark Rubber and glued it straight to the roof. Definitely does the job for me and means not needeing to put in hood bows or needing to stretch the material to fit.

One idea anyway.

did the same with mine used spray contact cuts down the noise and its warmer inside :D :D

again glued some carpet to the roof. did all round the sides as well. no pics as i've just ripped it out for a rebuild

Another tip for spray glue is to mix products like "kwik grip" down with thinners and spray like spray paint. Use a primer gun, and cover large areas quickly with this method. I think for best results, spray two coats with a few minutes flash of time between coats.
Sticks like sh!t to a blanket! :lol:

I did min a bit differently.
I got an 850 (I think they came in the 850's) headlining frame and extended it in the middle. I then glued some other stuff to it and covered it. Came up pretty cool. Some might say its a bit OTT but I like it.


This is not finished in this pic and lines up beter now and fits better in the corners.

It is new! It may be easier on small jobs but your way would be better on large jobs. :D

we I have this to enjoy thanks to the PO. You will see the bears foot prints on the wall but this is also the case on the roof :roll: but it may shut the drone out while driving. Yep its all stuck on by slapped on Kwik Grip so its stays on for the time being as its going to be a rite pain to get off
You do wonder what some people where thinking don't you
