Sounds like a late Mini K van to me.

Bonnet badge should be a Mini K one, it's a big ugly round one and they are NLA (no longer available). My resprayed bonnet is now naked for this reason.

p/no is ALA6510 (insert) + ALA6512 (surround).

Yep, very rare Mini K van with lift up Clubman door handles. About 500 numbers after my 11/70 K van which had the old type handles.

Cheers,

All the 1971 Minis had the lift up handles. (how can they be called Clubman handles when the Clubman hadn't been invented yet?)

Definately a Mini K Van.

Mine is YJBAV4R-5369, so they may have waved to each other on the assembly line.

The numbers on mine read

2 - 4 - 5A - 7 - 20 - 10A
