Last time I said that I was laughed at. It has somethng like 21hp. Even blown it probably wouldn't keep up with a 998 Mini.

Oh yeah, you would do it for stamps only..

But you could put in a 4.2 diff and use it to pull stumps out of the dirt perhaps..

I put up pictures a while ago of a Morris Minor panel van that has one fitted, with a little turbo on top and runs bio diesel...

Actually I believe it was 16HP.... less than 1/2 what a stock 850 had.
The rev range is pretty limited too.

You wouldn't pay that much if you were looking for a small tractor to actually use for small farm work.

My parents used to have a small Leyland tractor on the farm which looked almost identical.
Fantastic tractor, very versitile hard worker, used to do everything from digging to lifting motors out with the bucket. Good for getting bogged cars out of the paddock, we would somtimes lift the whole back end of the car up high in the air to push them out, mostly just to freak the drivers out.....

How can it be rusty when it's covered in so much oil?

I've been looking at little tractors like this recently.. specifically something with a back hoe. There have been a couple of early '80s Kubota 4WD backhoe/tractors recently on eBay which have fetched this kind of money.

A full-size Massey Ferguson backhoe recently got no bids at $12k in two listings...

If this one had a back hoe, I'd be on it like a rash
