 Post subject: different radiators??

i was putting the radiator in my 63 when i seemed to run out of room,the bracket from the thermostat housing is about 1 inch away from where it should be, is there different radiators or brackets?? or have i done something wrong

There's at least 3 common styles of top bracket, at least two of the lower angled one, two different early shrouds and two lower engine mount brackets. But most of the common radiators use the same mounting points.

thanks tim was going through another box of bits last night and found shorter top bracket now just have to look for different bottom one as the 2 bolts hit the balancer
