stumbled across this yesterday - ghetto injection

Yes, the 1227808 Camira Delco ECU(Same as VN/Astra also), with the 4cyl memcal(JE Camira). I think I still have a loom and ECU etc at home somewhere for when I can convince my dad to change over to EFI on his mini
I used the Camira MAP sensor, Throttlebody (Idle valve incoporated), IAT, 2-off the 4 camira injectors, modified camira rail, camira FPR, Camira Ignition trigger (triggered from the modified Honda Dizzy with it's vacuum advance removed and mechanical advance locked) and the camira coolant temp sensor.
At that point I didn't run the Oxy sensor, but with modern fuels I'd probably go to the effort of fitting one to the system.
My manifold was pretty much some RHS with two bellmouthed 180deg mandrel bends feeding it as can be seen, it was very neat and compact.
As for tuning, I didn't get a chance to burn soem new EPROMS for it, but had all the software and actually had it interfacing with the laptop for sensor inputs etc. Winbin comes to mind. I did change curves/graphs etc but never had a chance to burn them...
I did however have a couple of POTS providing rough and fine adjsutment of the MAP signal output before the ECU. I could change the mixtures from very rich to very lean by this method.
The car never ran better to be honest, I could easily rev the engine past 6500rpm for a std 1100 and 998 both with 104 cams.
Cold start worked and the engine started and idled smack bang on smoothly every time... How many mini's have you see do that
I did some minor engine changes, ie LCB extractors, you need to run a return fuel line, fabricate a swirl pot, have a couple of FP's etc.
came from here...
