I just had a wheel alignment done (i have been doing some front end work) and I was just wondering what sort of figures each of these should be?

After the alignment the settings are (I don't have adjustable suspension):

Castor:
Left: +1.43deg
Right: +2.48deg

Camber
Left: -0.3deg
Right: -0.5deg

Toe
Left: -0.1mm
Right: 0.0mm

Is this ok?

I would like to get adjustable suspension, but not sure if I need it.

Needs more castor, and even on both sides.
0.5° Camber is not bad for the road.
Needs more toe-OUT, this can be adjusted.

If you fit adjustables arms, you can get it all correct.

BTW check the rear alignment, you may be horrified... toe IN should be equal for both sides, -a total of 1/8" (3.15mm) is std.
Many poor Minis have toe-IN one side and toe-OUT the other, then they go down the road like a crab.

The one thing that is adjustable is not right. It should have 1.5 to 1.6 mm toe out total (or .75 mm each side). Castor would be best if more even side to side. Since you don't have adjustable tie rods it can sometimes be packed with big (bit thin) washers. Camber looks good for a roadie.

Maybe it might be a good idea to work out what you want before paying for an alignment session - or make sure the operator has some idea as to what's what before going ahead and coughing up cash????

Without adjustable bits camber and caster are what they are. For what its worth, camber is OK but caster's a bit light on - a bit more than 3 is good and uneveness causes the car to pull to one side. Are the tie rods straight??

Toe is adjustable and a total toe out of about 3mm is what you're looking for.

The car drives so much better than before, it was extremely twitchy before.

I think I will put adjustable suspension on the list. It might be a summer job. I can then have it set up exactly how I want.

Well without adjustable suspension there isn't much you can do about it really.

The front should be toed out not in? 1/16 out at the front, 1/16 in at the back

Yes you want toe-OUT at the front.
Rear toe-IN is 1/8" std, not 1/16".
But you can get away with a bit less.
One a road car, rear toe-out gets er... interesting.
